What is ABA About

Board Certified Behavior Analysis (BCBA) are professionals who underwent extensive education, practical supervised training as well as completed the BACB exam.

Far from a one size fit all, ABA provides behavior strategies that are individualized to each client’s need, goal and reality. Goals are established by consulting the parent, the teachers and completing an assessment to better understand the factors at play.

Practitioners implement behavioral strategies using evidence-based practices. The practices are therefore based on the best available evidence regarding the client’s specific case.

ABA is a young field that is committed to understanding and changing socially significant behaviors through various learning principles. Looks at the learning history of the child to understand what triggers and maintain the targeted behaviors.

ABA’s application is limitless. It offer solution to a variety of children affected by speech delay, developmental delay, Autism spectrum disorder and much more. ABA can be applied to a variety of setting such as home, classroom and community facilities.

Testimonial

“I would like to take this opportunity to thank Leila and her team for doing an amazing work. It has been a long journey with many bumps along the way for our son, I knew  early on there were significant speech, language and developmental delays and began looking into early intervention services.

In 2018 we started working with Leila ABA therapy and we saw a huge improvement in communication. Our son went from being non verbal to making small sentences within a year of intensive sessions. He was showing progress after each session. Our everyday life has improved dramatically as he is finally able to communicate more clearly which has improved every area of his life including behavior.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your organization and for helping families like ours to be able to do what any parent wants – to be able to do what is best for their child and give them the opportunity to strive in life! Sincerely. O.K
